IanWorthington
If my machine crashes (due to software, hardware, or power problem) whilst I'm adding a session to a backup set (I use both FILE and CDR), what are the consequences of this? Obviously my session would be corrupt and the set not closed correctly. Can I carry on using the set in some way or do I need to create a new one, with all that implies in terms of the time and space required to do a new full backup? Any comments welcome Ian ... lv2ski
You can carry on. You will need to go to Tools/Repair and update the existing catalog file (provided it didn't damage the catalog file in the crash/power outage etc). Then it will continue the backup where it left off (after the update).
IanWorthington
That's encouraging. And if the catalog *was* damaged can that be rebuilt from the damaged save set? Ian ...
lv2ski
Yes. If it was damaged then you would go to Tools/Repair and pick Recreate!
