mandm
We are running Retrospect 6.1 on Mac OS X machines (the server is an imac G5). Currently, we're trying to use an unsupported Sony firewire DVD drive, and we're having lots of problems. I'd like to purchase a supported external firewire DVD drive. Any recommendations? Is anyone using a drive that they love? Thank you.
nekr0phage
Hi, Many of the Pioneer superdrives are available with a usb/firewire connection. I don't use an external burner, so I can't give much of an opinion, but I'd like to throw in this link for reference: http://emcinsignia.com/supportupdates/technical/retrospect/device/ That's the supported device search page, if you see a drive that looks promising you can run a quick search to ensure it's supported.
