klgriff Posted April 17, 2006 Report Share Posted April 17, 2006 I have a new G5 quad with 1024 DRAM and a 250 GB hard drive, I connected a 300 GB Maxtor One Touch II using the firewire 800 connection, installed Retropect Express that cam ewith it and ran the first backup as the install screens instructed. Now ehen I try to run a backup or schedule regular backups, I get error screens telling me it can't locate the backup set. I also can't figure out how top schedule regular backups (the wizard that launches is not very helpful). Is there a RETROSPECT FOR DUMMIES out there anywhere? I would appreciate a step-by-step guide for setting up regular backups to my external hard drive, but the manuals and the Dantz website are not helpful at all.
