Cannot get Full Access

I just purchased a Sony CD-R/RW (24x, 10 x, 40x) and it came with Retrospect Express software. I've been able to burn CD's with the burner, but when I try to write to the CD using Retrospect, I get an error message that says, "cannot get full access privileges to your CD-R/RW Drive."

 

 

 

Any ideas how to fix this problem? I am using Windows '98 on a Dell Dimensions Pentium 600. Thanks.

If you have Sony ABC installed, try uninstalling it.

 

 

 

If you have Direct CD running, try disabling it.

 

 

 

Quit Windows Media player if it is running.

 

 

 

In the device manager, get properties on the CD-RW drive and turn off Auto-Insert Notification and restart the computer.
