AlbertEverett
I'm doing up a spec for a server for a client of mine, moving file/print from Novell 3.12 to Mac OSX Server. I'm planning to run Retro Workgroup on the server machine. Right now I don't plan to back up clients over the network, except for a folder or two on a Win2000 server. I need to know if I might have problems with the hardware/software below: G4 933Mhz current OSX Server Atto UL3S Internal Cheetah X15 36GB SCSI External APS AIT-II drive I was originally thinking about the VXA drives, but the forum messages have scared me off. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated, Albert
AlbertEverett
External AIT-II will be SCSI also, attached to the Atto controller... Albert
lv2ski
Well, www.dantz.com/hardware is going to be able to address this for sure. I would need the mechinism that is in the drive in order to tell you for sure if this is supported or not. The link above will help you with both the SCSI card and the drive it's self.
