What is the difference between a "restore point" and a "backup set"

What is the difference between a "restore point" and a "backup set"? I am trying to get to grips with express HD and this forum is helping a lot but I need clarification of this to fully understand threads.

 

I have 2 internal HDs which I backup. Is each restore point listed to the right of the calendar a backup set or all the restore points that I see one backup set? If they are one backup set how do I make more than one backup set (like some people talk about in this forum)?

A backup set is the container for all of your backup data. Backup sets contain multiple restore points. In your case the backup set contains restore points for both drives.
