Vince Black
I'm using Retrospect 6.5 with an external USB 200 GB drive, for daily, progressive backups. This is the only drive I have for backups. It's now full. How do make more room on that drive without compromising my ability to restore files (should that need arise)? Can I safely delete the .rdb files on that hard drive using windows explorer or is there a better way? Thanks, Regards, Vince Black
Overkill
Hello Vince Black, What software do you use to create aprograssive backups? It's better to use special software with high level compression and ability to explore and manage backups. >>Backup software

natew
Hi Your only option is to run a recycle backup which will erase all of the backups to date and start you from scratch. If you upgrade to Retrospect 7.5 you can use the grooming features to selectively delete old/ unneeded data. Nate
