larrymcg
I'm using Windows Retrospect Pro 6.5.283. The Retrospect info says that for a disaster recovery I will need a Windows Installation CD at the SP2 level. Since my install CD is at SP1 level I would need to use the slipstream mechanism to make one. However, careful reading of at least two descriptions of the slipstream mechanism claim that you must start with a vanilla Windows XP Installation CD -- that is, you can not start with an install CD that already has SP1 on it. How do I get a vanilla XP Install CD? --Larry
natew
Hi I think a better approach would be to get a windows XP CD that includes SP2. Microsoft may have those available but I don't know. Thanks Nate
