pnpreket Posted January 15, 2006 Report Share Posted January 15, 2006 Purchased WD 120 Dual Option USB drive using Restrospect 6.5. Installed on Dell dimension 8100 running XP with 768 MBRam. Installed according to directions. Scripted backup to do documents only. Everytime I try to back up I get an error message error-1101 file/directory not found. The computer is not hibernating, no one is using the files. Does this in manual or automatic back up. Any suggestions to correct. When I do this, something seems to be locking up the external HD, sometimes all 3 blue buttons are one. Most times you cannot turn off using on/off even after clicking on hard ware removal button.
