I´m using Retrospect Express in combination with a 300 GB Maxtor OneTouch II USB 2.0 external harddisc. During the standard copy process of data (.mpg video files) with drad-n-drop from my laptop onto the external device I have now received twice an error message: Retrospect: heavy failure (German failure Message: schwerer Fehler) "assertiv failure at tbuffer-cpp-373" Can anybody give me an explanation what that means for my bachup data. natew Posted December 29, 2005 Report Share Posted December 29, 2005 Hi Try deleting these files: C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\RetroExp\Config10.dat and Config10.bak Then launch Express HD and run the setup again.
