earl Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 I just bought a maxtor one touch II usb, which has it seems the retrospect 6.0. I am installing in windows xp, sp2. I get error message a problem occurred during installation for the pop up message over the task bar icon...... yellow exclamation in device manager over maxtor one touch two express hd window shows local disk j disconnected - though it really is connected tried loading software only first then connect device, four times... tried uninstall reinstall, no difference -- seems I am not getting option to format drive, could that be the problem, if so how to fix? thanks for anyones help.......
