I'm able to backup onto the internal hard drive, but when trying to do immediate backup to the external Maxtor hard drive, I get an incorrect error msg saying: "Not enough disk space for selected files (short by about 16.0 G) but the drive has more than 100 Gb free. Can't figure out what's going on. Running Windows XP SP2 and Retrospect Express 6.0. Thanks for any guidance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
natew Posted December 20, 2005 Report Share Posted December 20, 2005 Hi Check what you have selected in the sources field. The "my computer" item selectes all drives connected to the machine for backup. Check that you have selected to store the backup data on the external drive. Not on the internal drive by mistake.
