natew
Hi It may be catalog corruption or it could be a bad tape. Does it happen on all of your tapes and backup sets? Thanks nate
ibonaccorso
Hi, thanks for your reply. Actually, I've had some tapes marked as bad (media error) on every backup set I've used since the error started. I've used both brand new and used tapes, I also tried cleaning tape drive a few times. I'm now rebuilding the catalog from disk to isolate this issue. Regards

natew
Hi edit the retro.ini file in the Retrospect program directory. Change the MaxMemPercent value to 60. I would also recommend freeing up some space on your system disk and running defrag. Thanks Nate
