sbeattylds
Our catalog files became corrupt and we have had to recreate the scripts. We are having problems trying to add a Retrospect client back in to the script. If we go to Configure/Clients and select Test, it is able to find the client. If we select Add, select Direct, and type in the IP address of the PC, it then asks for a password. It says the password we're typing in is wrong. We only know of one password for this PC. Under Configure/Licenses/Backup clients, it says, 0 used. The PC is being backed up, as a client, by another server running Retrospect 7.0. Do we need a license code to add clients to Retrospect 6.5 single server? Or, is it a matter of finding out if another password exists? Anything else I can try? Thank you. natew
Hi The password is the one you typed in when you installed the client software. It isn't the windows password for the computer. If you can't recover the client password, uninstall the client software reboot and reinstall. Thanks nate
