jhg Posted September 14, 2005 Report Share Posted September 14, 2005 I'm trying to custom-configure a DVD8631 with DVD+R media in R7 Disk-to-Disk. When I insert the media and close the tray, Retrospect ejects it after about 5 seconds and pops up the media request dialog again. It doesn't seem to recognize the media. I have the latest driver update and installer versions. The media is Memorex DVD+R (8x compatible). Suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
natew Posted September 16, 2005 Report Share Posted September 16, 2005 Hi Make sure all other burning programs are disabled when you run the configuration. Make sure the disc has never been used by another application. If it still doesn't work, try a different brand or type of media. The last thing to try is installing ASPI using the ASPIINST.exe installer in the Retrospect program folder and enabling ASPI in the Retrospect preferences.
