Are you positive you backed them up? Do they appear in your snapshot?

If these are folders or computers that are mounted on your desktop (short cuts to other machines)....they won't be backed up. I am not sure if that is what you mean or not.

I mean that Shares are in the Active Directory and this Software don't seem to backup it

because all securities and policies are stored in It ...and there is no snaphot to backup and restore Active Directory in the version 5,6

I'm looking for a way to back it up without using Windows Backup software

Hope i'm more clear

Thanks.

We do Backup Active Directory.

Here are instructiosn for viewing snapshot properties to see that it includes:

Registry, Active Directory, NTFS, Com+, Cert. services....etc

To see if your backup contains a registry backup, go to Configure>Backup Sets. Select your Backup Set and select Properties. Select the Snapshots tab and choose "Properties" for the Snapshot in question. We will then display File System attributes as well as Registry backup information (System State).
