bstock
I want to do a backup of my complete C drive, but Retrospect does not list the Windows Me _restore folder, so it would not be backed up. What do I do to back up that folder? Thanks.
Mayoff
That temporary folder is used by Windows PC Health and is not needed for backup or restore. Your computer will restore and function correctly without that folder. The folder is also in use by the system during backup and can not be copied anyway. bstock
Thanks for the reply. First, whether a folder is *needed* for my system to function should not affect whether I can back it up or not. The same could be said of many folders. Second, I don't believe that the folder is in use while I'm backing up. Generally, Windows Me takes a system checkpoint only during idle time. Third, even if it were in use, that, too, should not prevent me from selecting it for back up.
