Email Notifier on 6.5 - Anyone got this to work?

I'm trying to get the email notifier to work on 6.5 using XP. I've tried Config Preferences, nothing. I've changed the RetroEventHandler.bat and placed it into the Retrospect folder, nothing, although I get 3 command windows flash up now during a backup. But, they don't seem to do anything. I've tried adding the -p >mail.log to RetroEventHandler.bat, but no log file is created.

 

Does anyone know how to get this working, I'm tearing my hair out here.

The email configs in the Retrospect preferences are the easiest way to go. Is your virus software blocking the message perhaps?
