davecsmw
Well I had a week of error free backups and then when i checked the log this morning I found this: 4/14/2005 12:05:19 AM: Copying System (C:) MapError: unknown Windows error 2,273 TSessInfo: :MessageBufferSend: UNetMessageBufferSend failed, winerr 2273, error -1001 MapError: unknown Windows error 2,273 TSessInfo: :MessageBufferSend: UNetMessageBufferSend failed, winerr 2273, error -1001 MapError: unknown Windows error 2,273 TSessInfo: :MessageBufferSend: UNetMessageBufferSend failed, winerr 2273, error -1001 4/14/2005 12:11:08 AM: Snapshot stored, 43.6 MB 4/14/2005 12:11:14 AM: Comparing System (C:) 4/14/2005 12:12:19 AM: Execution completed successfully Completed: 611 files, 123.2 MB, with 64% compression Performance: 157.2 MB/minute (246.3 copy, 115.4 compare) Duration: 00:06:59 (00:05:25 idle/loading/preparing) I had the same error for every hard drive on the local machine but no errors on any of the networked machines. The only change I made yesterday was to tell Retro to ignore my DVD drive (was causing a problem when making DR discs), but I don't backup to DVD (small office so we use a Rev drive) so I can't see where that would cause the error. Am I wrong? Any ideas where this error could be coming from? I searched the forums but couldn't find anything. TIA!
davecsmw
Happened agian last night even after switching the DVD drive back to not ignored. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
natew
Hi This is likely bogus logging information that Retrospect is supposed to be suppressing. Are there red "cheveron" marks next to these errors in the log? If not you can ignore them. Thanks Nate
