Jalice
I tried to restore a file and the one restored is not the one I selected, it is an earlier version. The folder I selected (on my backup drive) had files with the latest modified date of 4/2/05. This is the same date that I last backed up and matches the date that identifies the backup. However the folder that was restored to my hard drive has files no later than 3/31/05, and they clearly are not the content I expected (web site folder w/ edits as of 4/2/05). I only have one Backup set (on ext. drive) and only one catalog file (in My documents). How can it not give me the very files I selected? Where would it get earlier files from? Please help! natew
Hi Folder dates are much different than file dates. If you search for folders and do a restore you may very well get older data than you expect. It's best to use a snapshot based restore. Thanks Nate
