bdb Posted March 29, 2005 Report Share Posted March 29, 2005 I got the bad news yesterday that I have to reinstall Windows 98SE on my home computer on which I use Retrospect 5.6.132. Both of my optical drives (including the CD-RW used for backups) are non-operational, and it appears to be an operating system problem and not hardware problems. I have a complete backup on to CDs by Retrospect of my single hard drive which is about one month old. Is there anything on the hard drive that I have to save in order to access the files on the backup CDs so I can restore files? Advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
