Restospect Failure

I hav ejust got a new Maxtor OneTouch II HD that uses Retrospect on my Windows XP machine. It worked fine for the first few weeke, but now I am getting the following message after backup attempts.

 

Can anyone help me please?

 

Normal backup using DirectBackup2 at 09/03/2005 20:03

 

To Backup Set RestorePoint...

Hi

 

It sounds like a problem in the system or on the disk. Be sure to run a scan disk on both the internal and external drives. I would turn on all the available scan disk options for this.

 

You might also want to uninstall and Retinstall Retrospect Express HD
