wilsoncooke Posted March 7, 2005 Report Share Posted March 7, 2005 Hi, I was wondering if any has experienced a simular problem with backing up exchange. We are running Small Business Edition 6.5, with Exchange Server 2003 on Microsoft SBS 2003. When doing a usual backup with out "First Storage Group" included, it runs fine and without any problems, but when including exchange the software crashes and says: Retrospect has encountered a serious error, A log of this error has been written to the file "assert_log.utx" (tried searching for this file but couldn't find anything on the hard drive). It fails after backuping up approx 1.5 Gb of the 6 Gb First Storage Group. Has any one any idea what the problem could be?
