moraga695
Hello, I just replaced ArcServe v. 9 with Retrospect Server v. 7.0 running on a Windows 2000 Server, Standard Edition, with SP4, backing up to a "Benchmark DLT 1 SCSI Sequential Device" (as seen in the device manager). The previous ArcServe instructions were to disable the tape drive in Device Manager. Now, after installing Retrospect, the tape drive still shows as disabled in the Device Manager and seems to work fine, so I assume Retrospect is using its own driver. I'd just like to make sure, however, what the correct option is - enable or disable the tape drive in the Device Manager? Thanks for your help. natew
Hi Disable the Windows driver in Device manager. Retrospect has its own drivers for the tape drive. Thanks Nate
