dcherry Posted February 26, 2005 Report Share Posted February 26, 2005 Just downloaded the v7 trial. I'd like to buy the software, but can't get the trial to start in order to take a look. After running the program, I get the main Retrospect screen with "Ready" on the status bar at the bottom, then it changes to "Starting". Then it hangs. The menus never turn from grey to black. I have to end task. I have everything disabled (NAV, Spy Sweeper, etc.). I tried re-downloading the installer and uninstalling/reinstalling. Any suggestions? After seeing several other issues reported with 7.0, I realized I was trying to break my rule about not being the first to put new software in 'production'. Just not worth the time.
