unprinceton
I can't get a backup done on my PC using Retrospect 6.0 with the latest drivers and Maxtor One Touch. After hours of running the transfer rate slows to 0.7MB per minute, then freezes. The size of the backup is about 12GB. Perhaps I should install a USB 2.0 in my HP 8275 running Windows 2000. Any help would be appreciated.
kaikow
Yes, usb 1.1 is not useful, get a USB 2 adapter card. i installed an adaptec card when i got a maxtor external usb in mid 2003. also, i'm using retrospect 6.5, dunno whether you need to upgrade. natew
Hi Howard is spot on. Get a good USB2 card, you will be very happy you did. You should not need an upgrade to Retrospect 7 but it has some good features worth looking into. Thanks Nate
