twore1
I have installed Retrospect 7.0 on a Win 2003 server. All the backups went smooth with very few errors, untill I tried to back up three older machines that have been upgraded from Win 98 to win XP pro. Yhe first pass seems to go fine and the backup files seem to be in the folders created by Retrospect. The problem is when the snap shot is taken and the second pass is made the process slows down to a crawl( 3mb per min) and then the process stops. The file two of the computers bogs down on is nv4.inf and I get 600 warnings. The first file in the warning list is C:\windows\in1394.pnf. All other files in the warning list are pnf files. Any thoughts?
natew
Hi What are the warnings you get? Have you run a scan disk on the problem clients lately? It might be a good idea. Thanks Nate
