pasherrod
Retro 6.5.319 (Driver Update 5.4.110) Running on XP Pro SP2 2 Samsung SATA 160GB Raid 0 Device scan shows only the CD/RW on the Status tab. Environment tab shows the SATA Raid. When the backup runs, I have to browse for the media, select it, and then the backup runs with no problem (very fast BTW). How do I make Retrospect recognize the SATA as a backup device and use the backup sets I've created? Also, when I do a 'Check Media' it says "Media for script Daily Backup unavailable". Currently no IDE drives installed although I was thinking of adding 2 to implement Raid 0+1. Thanks in advance for any advice.

natew
Hi Make sure you have the latest MOBO bios and the latest drivers from VIA. Does this same problem happen if you use a file backup set? Or does it only happen with disk backup sets? Thanks Nate
