dscott Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 Trying to make a disater recovery CD, on a Dell portable connected to a Maxtor running windows 2000. The program gets to Building your disaster recovery disk CD-R Image file Remaining 4439 files 481.8 MB Completed 120 files 30.3 MB then hangs. Only active boxes at bottom are Help and Stop. HOw do I get the system to complete the recovery disk? Normal backups to the MAXTOR seem to work fine. Have 2 product keys; one in the registry which is an OEM key one found using Magical Jellybean Key finder which is not OEM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The only one that matters is in the Retrospect preferences file. Where have you chosen to save the image file? Do you get the same hang if you save it in another location?
