mpaton2004
Hi, I just ran windows updates and rebooted my backup server. Now Retrospect is asking me for a license code for some reason - I've put the code in and it's lost every one of my 49 scripts i set up for backup... Help! natew
Hi, I have seen this happen before but still have no idea what update wipes out the settings files. The settings files are called config65.dat. You can also use a config65.bak if thats all you have. They are stored at c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\Retrospect\ . If you have been backing up the C: drive on the backup server, enter your license code and restore an old version of the config files. Then close Retrospect and move it into the path listed above. You will need to overwrite the files that are in there. Nate
