Incremental vs. recycle backup

We are a three-person design department with very large image files. We would like to set up a backup strategy that would back up our files every day (incremental) but, after a week, would replace the data (recycle). However, we would like to replace ONLY the data that has changed, because a full recycle would make us start from scratch (is that correct?). In our case, that would take a few days and several DVDs. Any sugestions would be really appreciated.

Unfortunately this is not possible in current versions of Retrospect. You might want to consider a different backup media type that will be faster than DVD.

i.e. tape or hard disk.
