mdfgtaylor Posted January 11, 2005 Report Share Posted January 11, 2005 are these devices incompatible under mac os x server 10.3.7? i have downloaded the latest drivers from dantz and adaptec without any luck. when scanning for the device in retrospect 6 the mac just hangs at the first scsi address (although system profiler is able to scan the scsi bus successfully for the library and drive). any help would be greatly appreciated. regards mark taylor Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
natew Posted January 14, 2005 Report Share Posted January 14, 2005 Hi Dantz (and adaptec for that matter) have dropped support for adaptec SCSI cards in OSX 10.3. Adaptec has announced that they will no longer produce SCSI drivers for the mac. You need to get a supported card. Either an Atto UL3 or UL4 card.
