We run "Ensim" on Linux servers.

If you are not familiar with this system: Ensim is a web hosting solution application that generates many files and directories,especialy on Linux:as much as million and half files in more then 2 hundred thousand folders (calculated on all sites alltogether)

When trying to backup this server using Dantz ,the process fails with an error:

TMemory::mhalloc: VirtualAlloc(290.0 M, MEM_RESERVE) failed, error 8

TMemory::mhalloc: VirtualAlloc(290.0 M, MEM_RESERVE) failed, error 8

I have tried everything,including the "selectors" ,but Retrospect attemts to cache all the files each time,and the error persists...

I have installed another hdd and move the paging file on it. Nothing helped...

Now we started to think about some open source solution for Linux that may work sellective and hopefuly will succeed to backup the data.

Anyway,i decided to post it in a Dantz forum, just a second before i'm finaly convinced that Dantz can't do the job on our Linuxes.

Any help is appreciated.
