willfurby Posted November 30, 2004 Report Share Posted November 30, 2004 I have a client running Retrospect 6.5.350 on a Windows 2003 SBS server. We have recently added the SQL and Exchange databases. The following error appears after every backup: Trouble reading files, error -1004 (Database Backup/Restore error) I have searched the Knowledge Base, but did not find an article that applied to my situation. The two closest 5304 (adding psapi.dll to client folder) & 5334 (different versions) don't apply. If anyone has any information, please let me know. Thanks. natew Posted December 2, 2004 Report Share Posted December 2, 2004 Hi Are the SQL and Exchange servers on the machine running Retrospect or are you accessing them via Retrospect client? For your backup sources have you selected the Exchange container or the first storage group below it? Try selecting the storage groups and databases rather than the containers.
