Example; why does the backup waist so much time Snapshot'ing the "Temporary Internet Files" folder when I've excluded it from being in the backup in the first place??? natew Posted December 2, 2004 Report Share Posted December 2, 2004 Hi This annoys a lot of people but there are good reasons for it. The snapshot takes an image of the entire source volume no matter what was actually backed up. Retrospect needs to do this in order to do full restores.
