cant select snapshot

hello again

 

I was able to get the software running and did a backup of most of my drive.

 

when i try to select a snapshot for disaster recovery and select my first and only backup in the top window and drive c: in the bottom window, i get a message that says:

 

"Sorry, can't prepare for disaster recovery using that Snapshot"

 

"Please, select a Window's startup volume........"

 

I tried to recreate it from the file Backup Set A.rbc, but i am doing something wrong.

 

do i need to start all over?

 

sorry for all the questions.

 

i just want to get all this working right and comfortably for myself.

When you configure the backup set from Configure>Backup Sets, get properties on the snapshot. Does it indicate the registry was backed up?

 

 

 

Try an incremental backup of the startup disk and then try the DR process again.
