srnath Posted August 13, 2004 Report Share Posted August 13, 2004 All, We are using restrospect 6.5 on windows 2000 and we are backing up data to NAS Device,Backup's are running sucessfully, But it generates lot many RtrXYZ.tmp files in our NAS log file. Why these Rtr.XYZ.tmp are generated, is there any solution to avoid these files ? Can you please mail me about the significance of these RtrXYZ.tmp files. natew Posted August 17, 2004 Report Share Posted August 17, 2004 Hi I would guess you have one for each .rdb file in the backup folder. These files are likely used before each rdb file is finalized.
