mikebk Posted August 11, 2002 Report Share Posted August 11, 2002 I'm currently using Retrospect 5.6 to back up onto a DAT drive. When the tape fills, I'm asked to replace the tape. When the current volume is finished, I'm asked to put the original tape back in (for verification). When it finishes verifying the portion of the volume on the original tape, I'm asked for the new tape again. This means that I have to change the tapes 3 times which is a nuisance as I have to wait around while it's going on. Does Retropsect 6 optimize this process?
