SBS
I need to truncate a backup set in Retrospect 6.5 on a weekly basis. Is there a way to do this without "transfering" the data to another backupset? Thanks, Mark
natew
Hi You want to just clean out the oldest data right? Retrospect is not capable of doing that at the moment. Your only option is to run a recycle backup weekly and empty the contents of the set. How long do you need to keep this data on hand? A simple two week rotation between sets may be the way to go if you don't need it for very long. Nate
SBS
Hmmm, that's disappointing. I was hoping not to have to create duplicate backup sets for every other week - which would be larger than one progressive set that I can truncate... Oh well, thanks for your reply, Mark
