problem connecting to a 6.5 client running on a win xp pro machine

I have had problems getting my Retrospect 5 server (for mac) to backup a win xp pro machine with a 6.5 client installed.

I can connect to client, but further communication fails. I have run the utility to open the xp firewall.

 

My solution, or workaround was to uninstall the 6.5 client and install a 6.0 version instead.
