Mikee
To backup RS I currently have a scheduled Duplicate job with "Retrospect" selector that copies all (?) Retrospect files to a different location. Is this the best approach? To restore (and I haven't tested it yet) my plan is to copy the files back to their original location, install the latest 6.5 from the Dantz downloads and register it. Is that the best way to insure that all the client info, custom scripts and configurations are safe and can be restored? Any hints and suggestions welcome! thanks, Mikee
natew
Hi The 2 files that hold all of your scrits, selectors, clients , product licence, settings... are located at the following path: C:\documents and settings\all users\application data(hidden)\Retrospect\config65.dat and config65.bak. I believe those files are picked up by the "Retrospect files" selector. You could also just define that folder as a subvolume and do an "all files" backup of it. (That can save you some time on the file scan) Nate
