mgostovich
What is causing this error. I am attempting to backup a folder on a Win98 machine that has no security software running that I am aware of.
lowery
I am having the same problem. It is a new install on XP Pro. Launching the program and running back-up manually from the program works fine. Running from script or the 'One Touch' feature stops and displays the 1017 error. I have just started using this and do not have much confidence yet. I am troubled by this error because I do not have any comfort that this error might interfere with future restoration. The install as well as all operations are accomplished with an account that has 'administrative' privileges. Is there some way to fix this aggravating problem?
