Spiffy
Hi, Using Retrospect 5.0.238 and Driver Update 3.6.106 with a Sony Spressa CRX145E (FireWire CDRW) on various OSX Jaguar versions including the latest 10.2.8. I get Bad Backup Set Header errors on verification, on every single file. I've used Retrospect Express 4.2 and 4.3 on OS 9 successfully with the drive, but no luck with OSX. It works with my internal ZIP 250. I read a post from about a year ago who had the same issue with the same drive and concluded that it was the drive. Still, the compatibility database shows the drive as qualified. Any ideas?

natew
Hi Do you have any trouble burning other CDs in OSX? A bad backup set header usually indicates that the data going across the wire was damaged before it made it to the device to be written. Can you try this drive on another OSX machine?
