pozo Posted June 4, 2003 Report Share Posted June 4, 2003 I have Tapes that were backed up on a winNT server. The server was acting as our job server for all of our Macs over appletalk. Now our job server is a OSX server and when I restore the data from the older tapes to a Mac volume on the network, I get all these system files and all the files seem to have lost there Application association. Lennart_T Posted September 5, 2003 Report Share Posted September 5, 2003 I think you have to restore to a PC running File Services for Macintosh. Connect this disk on a Mac (Chooser for OS 9 or GO menu for OS X) and copy them over using Finder.
