brising Posted May 22, 2003 Report Share Posted May 22, 2003 Here's a strange and irrelevant (to backup) question about Retrospect vs. Sounds. I've put extra .aiff files in the /System/Sounds folder (yes, I know I'm not supposed to). They play just fine from the Sound Preferences. In Retrospect, however, when they are used for notifications, most all of them get cut short, and some of them come out hideously amplified and scratchy. I cannot for the life of me find the pattern.
