markmaytum
One of the things that just hasn't worked that well for us is adding clients via subnet broadcast. That's because we're trying to keep track of laptops connected over internet WAN links. Subnet broadcasts aren't passed by any ISP so it basically doesn't work over the internet. To get around this we have setup VPN tunnels to some of our locations but in others it's just not possible. A feature similar to the way Timbuktu works would be nice: In TB2, you can make a text document containing all the ranges of IP's you want it to scan. Pretty easy to configure and I think if there were some sort of dialog in Retro to designate the interval to scan, it would limit the amount of packets. my 2c. -mark
