Retrospect-Unknown crash

Recommended Posts

Walked to my computer this morning and found a crash log from Retrospect. Inspecting Retrospect's log, it seems the overnight backup worked fine (one client, & the master machine)--there were just no terminating statistics.

Yesterday, I had just finished upgrading my computer to OSX 10.2.6, iTunes 4, Quicktime 6.2, iPod 1.3, Toast 5.2.1, Canoscan N1240U scanner drivers. The iPod and a DiskOnKey are connected during the backup. Both are excluded from backup via selector--a mounted disk image from the DiskOnKey is backed up. The DiskOnKey is connected through a Belkin 4-port self-powered hub (which had no problems with backups under OSX 10.2.5).

The host computer is a 15" flat panel iMac; the client is a summer 2000 iMac also running OSX 10.2.6, iTunes 4, QuickTime 6.2.

Both computers had permission repairs performed after the upgrades were complete.

The backup device is an Ecrix VXA firewire tape drive.

Here's the log. I've also included lines from the console log which appears to be adding the repeaters at the rate of 1 or two per second.
