stokedone Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 I have a Retrospect 7.0.344 setup on Windows 2003 environment. Two servers and eight client computers. The issue is that the for one of the servers backups takes days to complete when verification is turned on, but runs normally (about 12 hours) when verification is off. This is a newer development within the last month. Verification is on with every other client. We've completely reinstalled the client (un-installed and deleted the remaining folders and items), recreated the backup sets, and completely recreated the Retrospect database. A fresh installation basically. What are the next troubleshooting steps to take. Is there a reason that verification is just not starting to slow backups for this one client?
