kerryd
I want to restore a folder (calendar) to the desktop in a new folder rather than to the Mac HD but it always restores to the Mac HD. Is there a way to change this behavior. When I was doing my restore I selected desktop as a favourite not really know what that meant but I see nothing that allows you to choose this as your destination for the restore. Lennart_T
When restoring to a new folder, Retrospect always creates that folder at the root level of the volume (hard drive). After the restore is completed, you have to move the files/folders to your desired location (using the Finder).
