James Mulryan
Hi I just put a new hard drive in my Mac Pro after backing the original up on another drive using carbon copy. Can I drag my old retrospect application files and retrospect engine onto the new hard drive or would it be better to do a reinstall from a new download. All data files have already been transferred onto my new drive.
Maser
You could drag the application folder, but you should reinstall the engine. And move your "config80.dat" file to /Library/application support/retrospect from the backup. (Stop the engine after you install it, delete the "config80.dat" and "config80.bak" files that may be created, and replace with your backup "config80.dat" file and restart the engine...) James Mulryan
Going through manual, how do you stop the retrospect engine. I go to my preferences panel and can not find the screen that turns the engine off.
